Maddslinky ft. Omar - Special (Make A Change)
What a way to kick start our Number One Special. The track speaks for itself and the listeners loved it and kept it at the top spot for a massive four weeks in October 2010!

Simeon of The Primeridian ft. Shev Rock - Dance 4ever [Tall Black Guy Remix]
One of the biggest producers doing his thing right now is the brilliant Tall Black Guy and back in Nov 2010 spent two weeks at the top spot with this superb remix of “Dance 4ever” from our Chi-Town family Simeon of The Primeridian and Shev Rock. The track will be released as 7” single this Monday 10th October on First Word Records!

JR & PH7 ft. Oddisee & Olivier Daysoul - Hustle & Flow (The Update)
Another dope producer/artist collaboration coming from German producers JR & PH7 & Washington’s finest, spending four weeks at number one over the 2010 Christmas period.

Wes Felton with Marshall Keys - Yours Completely [Ryan Proctor Re-work]
(Land Of Sheep, Ran By Pigs, Ruled By Wolves)
He never fails to disappoint and W. Ellington Felton comes though in fine style once again. Our man for 2007 is the only artist to make it to the Number One Spot with the same track twice, spending three weeks at the top in Nov 2010 and then gaining the popularity vote to hit the top spot for one more week on Jan 15th of this year!

Ski Beatz ft. Curren$y & Smoke DZA - Nothing But Us (24 Hour Karate School)
The big tunes were coming in thick & fast in January and this incredible track from producer extraordinaire Ski Beatz only lasted one week at the top spot.

Nottz ft. Terese Cook - No Money Down (You Need This Music)
So far it’s looking like the year of the producer. A brilliant track and a fantastic album but only lasting one week at the top spot at the end of January.

Mystro ft. Baby Sol - Don’t Worry (Digmund Freud EP)
Two of UK’s finest, and both special guests on the good ship Morpheus this year, collaborated together for this great track earning itself two weeks at number one back in February.

The Electric ft. Add 2, Qwazaar, Wes Restless & Yarah Bravo - Didn’t Cha Know (Hey You Guys! Mixtape)
One of our favourite groups of 2011 had us all bouncing in the studio with this incredible track. This London to Chicago posse cut spent two weeks at the top of the tree back in March.

This dope bonus cut from the “Something Forever: Special Edition” CD made it to number one for two weeks back in April.

Pharoahe Monch ft. Jill Scott - Still Standing (W.A.R. We Are Renegades)
One of our favourite collaborations of 2011 so far comes from hip-hop legend Pharoahe Monch featuring the incredible vocals of Miss Jill Scott. Two weeks at the top in April for this match made in heaven.

Reel People ft. Tony Momrelle - Star (Golden Lady)
Now we come to the track that has spent more weeks at the number one spot than any other song this year. A massive six weeks at the top for this fantastic dance anthem!

Dego ft. Bembe Segue & Dave Okumu - Sunshine
Dego ft. Obenewa - Hate You (A Wha’ Him Deh Pon?)
Two number one’s in a row is a rarity on The Morpheus Soul Show but was done with ease and in fine style from beat maker supreme Dego who also hit us with one of the finest albums of 2011 so far. Both tracks spent two weeks each at the number one spot BackIIBack in June & July with these summer anthems.
