1. Georgia Anne Muldrow - Run Away (Early)
Our final number one of 2009 became our first number one of 2010 with another two weeks at the top spot!

2. Crown City Rockers - Go On (The Day After Tomorrow)
Two weeks at the top spot for Oakland’s finest in October/November ’09. Big shout to Raashan Ahmed, Headnodic and the rest of the family.

3. Sonar Kollectiv Orchester - Universal Love (4Hero presents Extensions)
One week at number one on November 14th 2009 wasn’t enough for this amazing track, it was voted back in again by you the listeners in December for another three weeks. The only group to top the charts twice with the same song this year!

4. Brittany Bosco - It Was You (Spectrum 2.0)
We had the pleasure of having Miss Bosco as a special guest LIVE on the show earlier in the year and our listeners were blown away. ‘It Was You’ had two weeks at number one in November 2009.

5. Erik Rico - Dorothy Parker (The Reworks Project)
A Morpheus Soul Favourite & L.A.’s finest Erik Rico topped our charts in January this year with this beautiful rework of a Prince classic!

6. Reflection Eternal ft. Jay Electronica, J. Cole & Mos Def - Just Begun
What A Line Up!!! We were quite shocked that this only lasted one week at number one back in January.

7. Eric Roberson - Tale Of Two People [Ahmed’s Remix]
A great song and a brilliant remix from London based songwriter/producer, originally from Brooklyn, NY, Ahmed Sirour. He originally submitted this entry to Eric Roberson’s remix competition and was short listed to the final five. Two weeks at Number One!

8. Full Crate & Mar ft. Eric Roberson - She Was Fly (Conversations With Her)
‘She Was Fly’ held down the top spot for three weeks back in Feb/Mar.

9. Ty - Emotions (Special Kind Of Fool)
Another Morpheus Soul Favourite and Brixton’s finest Ty hit us up with his fantastic album ‘Special Kind Of Fool’ which is shaping up to be one of the best hip-hop albums of 2010. The first single from the album ‘Emotions’ beat off the competition for two weeks back in March.

10. Pacific Division ft. TiRon - Paper (Ketchup Mixtape)
Southern California Trio Like, Mibbs & BeYoung along with L.A. emcee TiRon held down the number one position for two weeks in Mar/Apr.

11. Ty ft. Erik Rico - Me (Special Kind Of Fool)
This is the second track from Ty’s 4th studio album to reach number one before it was released on the 19th of April of this year on BBE Records. Three weeks at the top!

12. Ty ft. Sway & Roses Gabor - Heart Is Breaking (Special Kind Of Fool)
With the album finally released Ty managed two number one singles in a row and three number one’s from the same album. This had us all bouncing in the studio for weeks but only hit the top for one.

13. Ski Beats ft. Mos Def & Whosane - Taxi
The track was originally supposed to feature on the recently released ‘24 Hour Karate School’ but was replaced with the instrumental. Held down the top spot for the first week in May.

14. Erykah Badu - Umm Hmm (New Amerykah, Part II: Return of the Ankh)
An amazing song from an incredible artist. Two weeks in May!

15. 2hungry Bros. & 8th W1 ft. Homeboy Sandman - No Harm [Modified Party Version]
Deep & Ben Boogs aka 2hungry Bros. emailed me this track earlier in the year featuring two of the best emcees in the game right now. The track is so HOT it couldn’t be touched for four weeks at number one back in May/June.

16. Erykah Badu - Gone Baby, Don’t Be Long (New Amerykah, Part II: Return of the Ankh)
A second number one for Miss Badu from a fantastic album but only holding down the top spot for one week.

17. Ty ft. Carroll Thompson - Something Big (Special Kind Of Fool)
Originally entered the charts at number five on the 1st May for one week only but re-entered in June after witnessing a superb live performance at London’s World Famous Jazz CafĂ©. ‘Something Big’ made it a total of four number one’s for Ty. ‘Special Kind Of Fool’ is the only album to have four number ones, not only this year but in the history of Morpheus Soul. Congratulations!

18. Zo! ft. Sy Smith - Greatest Weapon Of All Time (Sunstorm)
One of the best producers on the planet right now. Lorenzo Ferguson dropped the sublime album ‘Sunstorm’ a few months back and this track held down the top spot for two weeks back in July. Most definitely one for your collection.

19. The Roots ft. Blu, Phonte & Patty Crash - The Day (How I Got Over)
The Legendary Roots Crew silenced their critics with their latest album ‘How I Got Over’. This amazing song hit the top spots for two weeks back in Jul/Aug.

20. YahZarah ft. Phonte - Cry Over You (The Ballad Of Purple Saint James)
The Foreign Exchange family could do no wrong this year. As we anticipate their latest album ‘Authenticity’, The Ballad Of Purple Saint James was another Morpheus Soul favourite for 2010. Two weeks at number one in August!

21. Dwele - Hangover (Wants World Women)
Dwele having a number one on The Morpheus Soul Show is nothing new. When he keeps providing big tunes like this for the listener’s ears it’s never a surprise. One week at the top spot.

22. Homeboy Sandman - The Essence [Prod By.2 Hungry Bros.] (The Good Sun)
One of our favourite hip-hop albums this year, from an out of this world emcee. Not many rappers can come close to the extraordinary skills of Homeboy Sandman in 2010. With production from them 2 Hungry Bros this lethal cocktail held down the number one spot for two weeks last month.

23. Erik Rico & Marc Mac - Destiny (Direct Soul EP)
The EP is now released for you to purchase and this track is simply magnificent. Our last number one for our 2010 Number One Special and that was four weeks at the top spot for Erik Rico & Marc Mac’s “Destiny”.
