The Morpheus Soul Show aired for it's final outing of 2010 in fine style as we welcomed an exceptional beat-smith & musician LIVE to the Brixton studios.

All the way from Detroit via Chicago via Los Angeles the extremely talented Terrel Wallace aka Tall Black Guy capped off a fantastic year for The Temporary Resident collective with not only an in depth interview and introduction to who he is and what he does!!!

TBG also dropped some BANGIN' EXCLUSIVES from the forthcoming Primeridian & Tall Black Guy album entitled 'Darling Lure' which will be Released in February 2011. The album features Shev Rock & Pugs Atomz among others and is entirley produced by the Tall Black Guy!

We were also surprised when The Temporary Residents very own 'Lyrickal' showed up to wish everyone a happy holiday and jammed with TBG as he dropped his own beats for the vibe-master to jam too. SUPERB!

It's that time of the year again where we celebrate the festive season with a three hour Christmas Special! Joining in this year’s annual affair, we invited a 24-karat ensemble of previous guests and friends of the show.

We welcomed back for the first of our yuletide specials, 'The hardest-working, Funkiest White Boy you ever shall see' Mr Greg Blackman. He was LIVE in effect bringing that dirty fyah, alongside the fantastic jazz vocals of the beautiful Miss Fae Simon and they tore the roof off the mutha as they jammed with The Temporary Residents very own Lyrickal! BRAAAP!
















We were also expecting the arrival of the brilliant Black Einstein aka Colin Emmanuel & Mystro aka Mys-Diggi but unfortunately due to London traffic and football (soccer) crowds they were unable to reach us in time. They were both gutted that they couldn't make it in time and send their apologies to all of their fans and our listeners. They will be back in the very near future with something special.

This edition of the show comes to you in two parts as we go over the three hour mark, so I needed to chop it in half for uploading purposes :)

Wow…this was a tough show. It all started off with a few technical issues with the microphones, no photographer due to short notice and as time was flying, we started wondering when our very special guest was arriving. An hour had past and still no sign of our good friend ‘John Robinson’. Another half hour and still nada!!!

Around 20 minutes before we were due to finish, The Soulful Solly Brown sadly announces that it doesn’t seem likely that J.R. was going to make it to the studio in time. Then lo & behold five minutes later Lil Sci walks through the studio doors, and instantly jumps on the microphone to jam with The Temporary Residents very own ‘Vibe-master’ Lyrickal who was already doing what he does best…LIVE MUSIC!

























We never got the opportunity to speak with John as much as we’d like to, and we never got the chance to play tracks from the Lewis Parker collaborated album ‘International Summers’ which we had lined up to play around the interview, but in true professional fashion Mr. Robinson & Lyrickal took us out with a bang. As they say, all's well that ends well and next year John will not let London Transport get the better of him when he returns once again.

It's all LIVE and shit happens!!!
